Thanks to the recent technical developments related to information systems (service-oriented architectures, artificial intelligence, web services, Internet of Things, open data, interoperability, 3D visualization, exploitation of social networks, etc.), and by the expansion of sources of data (surveillance network complemented by remote sensing, communicating objects and crowdsourcing), the world of water and biodiversity information systems is constantly evolving, with more needs for decompartmentalization between the fields of water and biodiversity. application (smart water, smart city, IWRM, biodiversity management, territorial management, climate change adaptation ..)

(VF) Intelligence numerique dans le domaine de l'eau

De par les récents développements techniques liés aux systèmes d’information (architectures orientées services, intelligence artificielle, services web, Internet des objets, open data, interopérabilité, visualisation 3D, exploitation des réseaux sociaux, etc), et de par l’élargissement des sources de données (réseau de surveillances complétés par la télédétection, les objets communiquant et le crowdsourcing), le monde des systèmes d’information sur l’eau et la biodiversité est en évolution permanente,  avec de plus des besoins de décloisonnement entre les domaines d’application (smart water, smart city, GIRE, gestion biodiversité, gestion territoriales, adaptation changement climatique ..)
